National History Day is a co-curricular program for students in eighth and ninth grade, focusing on historical research and analysis about a topic of their choosing. This year’s theme was Turning Points in History, and students worked hard to create either an exhibit board, documentary, research paper, or a website on their topic. The students pictured were chosen from our local competition to represent Minnewaska Area Schools in the Region History Day Competition at St. Cloud State University on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  They will be competing against other schools in hopes of participating in the State History Day Competition Saturday, April 20 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  Congratulations, and good luck to our contestants!
