The Glacial Ridge Chapter of Pheasants Forever has a great opportunity for two youth in our community. The chapter is offering two full scholarships to attend this year’s T.U.N.E. camp in Lanesboro, MN. Eligible ages for the camp are 11-16 years old.

Since T.U.N.E. Camp MN offers the opportunity to experience shooting sports, they must operate under the restrictions and regulations that all students enrolling in camp must be age 11 by the first day of camp. There will be no exceptions.

These scholarships are being donated by GRPF & the Chan Family in honor and in memory of Matt Chan, who was an actively involved member of the Glacial Ridge Chapter that devoted his time, his talents, and his treasures towards achieving Pheasants Forever’s goals.  It was a great loss when Matt passed away unexpectedly on June 6th, 2011.

T.U.N.E. (The Ultimate Nature Experience) aims to encourage and support youth in their endeavor to participate in exciting outdoor activities; learn new outdoor skills; explore fascinating aspects of the natural world; begin to understand the relationships between humans, wildlife, land & water; and establish lifelong appreciation and stewardship of the world they inherit.
