  • Alex Tournament Champs

    This past Monday, June 28, the Minnewaska Area Girls’ Basketball Team took part in the Breakdown Summer Series basketball tournament in Alexandria, and won. The tournament champions pictured are (left to right): front, Mikalyn Andreas, Olivia Bleick and Leslie Murken; and back, Jayda Kolstoe, Brooke Kolstoe, Sydney Dahl, Megan Thorfinnson and Lauryn Ankeny.   • Stars shutout Kensington, beat Regal over weekend

  • MAS holds youth track & field meet

    The  Minnewaska Lakers hosted a Youth Track & Field Meet on June 15. The event attracted teams from Minnewaska, Sauk Centre and Brooten-Belgrade-Elrosa (BBE).  Participants were in grades 3-6.  Pictured is the Minnewaska Area Lakers Youth Track Team.

    The Starbuck Junior Legion baseball team defeated KMS last Tuesday, then dropped  a game to Willmar 5-7 before coming back to defeat Lisbon Legion 11-9 on Saturday.
